Alex Nicolaou

Owner and managing director of Origin 1, Alex Nicolaou is an enthusiastic, driven and talented individual who is passionate about detail and design. He is dedicated to providing an amazing level of service in this impersonal, unaccountable, pass-the-buck, never-calls-back world. Alex has worked with several well known London based property marketing/design agencies such as AMD plc, The Creative Consultancy, GD&O and Oracle Advertising. 15 years ago, Alex set up Origin 1 to provide SMEs with high-end design at a down to earth cost, whilst also providing larger enterprises with a more personal and better value service than they would get from a London agency, with no compromise on quality.

With over 28 years experience in design, marketing and advertising he has a wealth of knowledge in property marketing and advertising new homes and has a great way of implementing it for any new development. They say, if you want to get something done, ask a busy person... well Alex is that person!

James Taylor

Our senior designer James has over 20 years experience, including 9 years in London. He holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and has designed and created many brands and advertising campaigns for new home developments. James is highly skilled in designing all the sales tools from brochures and hoarding graphics to estate agents/show home window displays and advertising concepts. James is adept in handling a complete project from the initial brand identity through to production of the final product, whether printed material or signage.

Daniel Spendiff

Dan has worked in web design for over 19 years and can design and set up a professional, effective new microsite for a new homes development, including the domain and hosting, at great speed as well as create and manage developers' main corporate websites. He will assist you with all production/technical/optimisation queries and provide agents with all the necessary files for each new homes development to broaden the marketing opportunities. He also has great knowledge in Search Engine Optimisation to help your target audience easily find your development online and will ensure your website in set up to work across all required platforms, such as mobile, tablet etc.

Vinay Desai

Vinay is our Online and SEO Marketing Specialist. Vin holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing and joined Origin 1 in 2015 to help promote businesses through their websites with his experience in digital marketing. He has a great passion for organic online searches, website analytics and reporting, email marketing, content creation, web development and digital design.

Belinda Whitlock

Co-owner/director Belinda’s experience has involved key roles in several graphic design and printing businesses over 20 years, working for many blue chip clients. She has worked on many property advertising accounts creating headlines, designing adverts, writing copy for brochures and managing reproduction for media spaces. Belinda is now the financial director and is in charge of business development.
